I work closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and other subject-matter experts to create cohesive and consistent user experiences. I believe in an approach where neither design or content come first. Rather, they inform one another in an iterative development process.

The Project
A new setup app for Salesforce Marketing Cloud products.

The Details
This first version only included Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), but the goal was to prime the app to include other products later.

What I Did

  • Crafted onboarding copy in line with Salesforce voice and tone, which is friendly, helpful, and "has a heart"

  • Used natural, engaging language to meet users where they are

  • Designed tiles to ease new users in sequentially

  • Combined a variety of resources to meet the needs of different kinds of learners

Open Rules Audit

The Project
A report page showing all Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) automations that use email open data as a trigger.

The Details
With the marketing value of email open data decreasing, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) created this tool to help marketers identify automations currently based on email opens.

What I Did

  • Provided all labels and descriptive text

  • Ensured wording and labeling was consistent with existing features and in line with Salesforce style guidelines

  • Recommended section headers to indicate visually how to consume the information

  • Recommended making the overview section clickable where possible for easier navigation
